• Class 10th (High School) passed from any recognized board in India.
• OR ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade.
• OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Candidates will be posted in various departments of Indian Railways including:

Track Maintainer Grade IV	Helper / Assistant (Electrical)	Assistant (Pointsman)
Helper / Assistant (Mechanical)	Helper / Assistant (S&T)	Hospital Attendant

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Single stage objective type exam.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature.
3. Document Verification (DV): Based on CBT merit.
4. Medical Examination: Verification of fitness for the specific post.

Standard	Visual Acuity Requirements
A-2	Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without glasses. Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 without glasses. Must pass tests for Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, and Myopic Vision.
B-1	Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (Power ≤ 4D). Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses.
C-1	Distant Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses.
